Anne-Marie Istafanous, Founder and Principal

Anne-Marie founded CCS in 2007, having previously been VP & Senior Counsel for Washington Mutual Bank and a lawyer in the Seattle office of Davis Wright Tremaine, an AmLaw 100 Firm.  Anne-Marie combines the substantive expertise of outside counsel with the pragmatic approach of in-house counsel to provide practical, responsive and efficient service.

Anne-Marie’s technology practice includes negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts and strategic business relationships, including for cloud services, software, licensing, web services, implementation, integration, professional services, inbound and outbound technology, data security and privacy, intellectual property, AdTech, and FinTech.  Additionally, Anne-Marie works closely with her clients to develop template agreements and deliver contract and negotiation training for legal, sourcing, procurement and sales professionals. 

Anne-Marie received her J.D. from the University of Washington where she also received her B.A. (Law, Society and Justice) while competing for the Huskies in Division I varsity golf, earning both NCAA and Pac 12 honors.  Anne-Marie continues to enjoy playing and competing as an amateur.  Anne-Marie is licensed to practice in Washington and Idaho.
